Intellect, Talent and Culture

- by Mr Siddhant Rathour

The tradition of uniting a vibrant community

of management graduates and professionals

under one roof is something one of a kind.

The experiences shared with the participants

from other colleges and seeing everyone

involved was amazing”

Samavesh 2024 was more than

an event; it was a celebration

of diversity, inspiration, and

holistic growth. The fusion of cultural and

management elements provided a unique

platform for learning and networking.”

In addition to providing

students with a venue to

showcase their talents, events

like Samavesh also bring together a diverse

group of management graduates and

professionals, providing the management

community with a chance to collaborate,

skills for all aspiring professionals.”

EVENT

Highlighting the vibrant annual cultural fest at FIIB – Samavesh, our largest student-

led inter-college event.

There is no better way to describe the aftermath

of Samavesh 2024 than to say that it has been

an inspirational event where intellect, talent,

and culture converged on FIIB’s campus,

and every moment was filled with energy

and passion, from thrilling competitions to

impressive performances. FIIB Student Council

organized engaging competitions, celebrity

night, electrifying music, mouthwatering

food stalls, and unique experiences. The event

had something for everybody, whether a

stock market enthusiast, dancer, musician, or

someone who wanted to have fun!

This year, the event offered a diverse range

of opportunities for participants to showcase

their talents, including group and individual

performances such as Debate Competition,

Virtual Stock Market Challenge, Group Dance,

Fashion Show, Nukkad Natak, Battle of Bands,

Solo Dance, Bollywood Quiz, Hustle, Solo

Singing, and Rangoli. The pulse-pounding

excitement of the dance competition stole

the spotlight. Over 100 teams from colleges

participated, bringing a festive atmosphere to

campus. The event saw a vibrant gathering of

over 1500 management graduates, brimming

with energy and enthusiasm. An array of artists

and performers from the arts, music, dance,

theater, and media judged choreography,

dance, and dramatization. To name a few, Mr

Amandeep Singh presiding over the Dance

Competition and Mr Manu Kapoor overseeing

the Fashion Show, Mr Balendu Negi and Mr

Madhuram led the way for the Battle of the

Bands, while Mr Abhinav Pratap and Mr Saurabh

Yadav for poetic competition, meticulously

evaluated each performance with precision

and insight.

Amidst the cheers and applause, Dyal Singh

College emerged victorious in the Fashion

Show; Sumit Singh Bisht dominated the rap

competition, Piyush Vardhan in the pool table

while Barkha’s solo dance captivated the

audience with her mesmerizing performance.

Not far behind, Abhishek claimed the second

title, leaving spectators in awe with his

exceptional moves. As the spotlight dimmed

and the echoes of applause faded, these

names etched themselves into the annals of

Samavesh 2024.

As part of the Samavesh celebration, businesses

and organizations were invited to sponsor the

event. This year’s sponsors included Bikano,

ahpl, Gizmore, and The Arth Company. Bidding

farewell to this year’s festivities, here’s to the

memories created, the bonds forged, and the

legacy of Samavesh that will continue to inspire

us in the days to come.

Until we meet again in 2025!
