The Research-based category is embodied in

a White Paper that addresses the social and

economic inequalities faced by LGBTQ+ indi-

viduals in India, in line with UN SDG 5: Gender

Equality. This document compiles research on

trans women and HIV prevention awareness,

offering insights into combating discrimina-

tion and promoting inclusivity. It serves as a

vital tool for stakeholders and policymakers,

advocating for gender-affirmative healthcare

and a more equitable society.

The project at the Sarvodaya Collective

successfully established a comprehensive

database of schools and implemented an

Inclusion Program, directly addressing UN

SDG 4 while indirectly supporting SDGs 8,

9, and 11. Through partnerships with edu-

cational institutions, it fostered an inclusive

society, promoting equal opportunities for

individuals with IDDs and contributing to

holistic development and equitable eco-

nomic growth in alignment with the UN’s

sustainable development agenda.

This project, categorized under Consulting,

aims to develop and implement culturally

sensitive educational support programs,

enhancing academic achievement and

self-assurance among economically disad-

vantaged students. By collaborating with

local communities, it seeks to improve

inclusivity and retention in educational

institutions, contributing to SDG 4 (Quality

Education) and addressing SDG 1 (No

Poverty). The anticipated output is a com-

prehensive framework that shifts community

perceptions towards education, fostering

development in line with sustainable goals.

Under the Research category, this project

focuses on producing a guidebook for par-

ents of children with intellectual disabilities

(IDDs), aiming to empower IDDs individuals

through education and awareness, in line

with UN SDG 4. It challenges IDD stereo-

types, promotes empathy, and advocates for

inclusive education and accessible learning

environments, unlocking academic potential

and ensuring the right to develop and share

unique abilities. The guidebook serves as

a crucial resource, providing parents with

knowledge and tools to support their chil-

dren’s education and foster inclusivity.
