Dear Institutional Leaders,
On behalf of the entire team at upGrad Campus, I extend my
warmest wishes for the New Year!
As experienced leaders in higher education, you are
undoubtedly aware of the constantly shifting landscape of
academic-industry collaborations. Over the past 2 months,
I’ve had the privilege of meeting with more than 30 University
founders, Vice Chancellors, and Directors. One consensus that
emerged from these discussions was the need for institutions
to prioritize the integration of industry-relevant programs into
their curriculum (such as AI & ML, Data Science, Business
Analytics, and Digital Marketing).
Providing students with the exposure to cutting-edge
fields and industry faculty during their undergraduate or
postgraduate studies can furnish them with a valuable
educational experience, thus securing their careers. This not
only saves time but also enables students to align themselves
with the current demands of the industry.
In this edition, we have decided to showcase the case
studies of the institutions that have partnered with us
for our Joint Degree Programs (JD) across India. It is truly
uplifting to see the level of involvement and commitment
demonstrated by all stakeholders, which reflects the
strong sense of community that we are trying to build of
Next-Gen Institutions.
Specialized job-linked programs provide numerous benefits
not only to the students who pursue them, but also to the
Institutions offering them. These programs can serve as a
competitive advantage for the institutions and distinguish
them from other institutions.
Our JD Programs have been carefully designed to act as
“A Catalyst to Traditional Degree Programs”.
By incorporating industry-relevant training and utilizing
the expertise of industry professionals as instructors and
mentors, we aim to prepare our students for the evolving
needs of their chosen career paths. I invite all the Institutions

Programs to ensure better admissions and placements
at their campuses.
