Our fifth-grade students recently brought Rabindranath Tagore’s “Invention of Shoes” to life through an exciting comic

strip creation activity. This interactive project encouraged students to blend storytelling with visual art, enhancing their

visual-spatial intelligence.

As they crafted dialogues and created artwork, the students showcased their creativity and deepened their

understanding of the story’s themes.

Through this hands-on experience, they practiced essential skills such as sequencing, character development, and

artistic expression, making literature an immersive, visual experience.

It was inspiring to see our young learners express complex ideas with images and dialogue, adding a unique

perspective to their literary journey.
