Mathematics plays a vital role in our everyday lives, making it essential to build a solid understanding of concepts from

an early age. At GCIS, we employ various teaching methods like hands-on activities,

Math lab sessions, art-integrated learning, and real-life problem solving to foster a deeper understanding and love for

math. Our approach includes strategies such as Concrete Understanding, Active Engagement, Peer Collaboration,

Critical Thinking, Art-Integrated Learning, and Real-World Connections.

Recently, Grade 2 students learned multiplication and Grade 1 students explored subtraction through engaging

activities, critical thinking exercises, and art-based methods. These dynamic sessions encouraged our young learners

to apply mathematical concepts creatively, building a strong foundation for future learning.
