Message from The President

Dear Members,

“The dream makes the difference and

mountains move for the determined.”

t gives me great pleasure to wish Happy New Year. As the President of GSC,

I welcome you all to this special New Year Edition of Team Spirit. With the

support of CA Sanjay Maloo – HGS, Sunil Kabra – Hon. Treasurer and my

governing council members; we are striving to provide you with nothing but

the best through events, infrastructure and services.

Team Spirit. We have some articles written in Hindi and Marathi. I am sure, the

Team will make more articles in regional languages in the coming editions and will

have many member entries as well. Unity in diversity and maintaining traditional

legacy is our vision at Goregaon Sports Club.

I would like to notably congratulate Chirag Shetty and Satwik Rankireddy for

attainin� the Wor�d�s �o. � position �or �ou��e�s �ad�inton. We have �itnessed the

humble family of Chirag Shetty always guiding him and supporting in his journey.

Chirag is one of the most focussed human beings, who has grown exponentially

in his career nothing but pure hard work. We applaud his efforts for consistent

performance and shining results.

I appreciate Vinod Podaar – VP-I for maintaining the Green Kingdom of GSC.

The Summer Coaching Camp Felicitation was the fruit of his leadership which

has highly commendable. He also distributed Tulsi plants to Members on World

Environment Day promoting a the GSC green initiative.

With the active efforts of Bharat Gala – Chairman Projects and the entire team

for introduction of new Otis Lifts. They have been working day in and out in the

renovation process of Pistol Shooting range and Yoga Area. They also have been

active�y �or�in� on the ne� �u�ti��urpose Studio� �hysiotherapy centre and �id�s

Zone.

� a� happy to e�perience the ﬁ rst ever Shiv �ahapuran at GSC �hich �as con�

ducted for 8 days continuously in the morning and evening hours. Members visited

regularly to seek blessings of the divine and participated in the Aarti.

I would like to congratulate Pradeep Jain, VP-II for conducting and organizing

another successful Mango Festival. With overwhelming response, I am happy to

say that it was the most happening Mango festival in the suburbs. I applaud the

efforts of Ramakant Parasrampuria – Chairman F&B for conducting the traditional

Rajasthani Food Festival.

I thank Dr. Mukesh Agrawal – Chairman Medical Cell, for working tirelessly on

�eneﬁ cia� tie�ups �ith reno�ned �ospita�s� dia�nostic centres and a��u�ance

on call services. He has taken true efforts to keep the Health of GSC members in

check. He continues to do so through various Seminars via his initiative of Health

Conclave. Under his guidance, the biggest Mega Health Check-up camp was con-

ducted with more than 30 expert doctors consulting for free. With two successful

CPR training sessions, we will be organizing CPR training every three months at GSC.
