As we reflect on our achievements,
it’s
crucial
to
emphasize
the
importance of fitness and health in our
lifestyle. The increased participation
in our sports facilities and fitness
programs is a positive indicator
of our members’ growing health
consciousness. I urge each one of
you to continue prioritizing your well-
being, for a healthy body nurtures a
healthy mind and spirit.
It brings me great pleasure to
note the changing lifestyle patterns
among our members. The formation
of various sub-committees has not
only increased participation in club
activities but has also fostered a
sense of ownership and belonging.
Diverse sub-committees like Cricket,
Badminton, Indoor Sports, Health
Club, Educational Initiatives, Food &
Beverages, Religious Events, Ladies
Wing, Cultural Events and many
more have enriched our club life and
strengthened our community bonds.
The inauguration of renovated
facilities viz. Lawn Tennis, Om Peace
& Harmony Yoga Centre, Otis Lift,
Ladies Toilet and the introduction
of innovative events throughout the
year have added new dimensions to
our club experience. These initiatives
reflect our commitment to evolving
with the times while preserving our
rich traditions.
Renovation efforts are currently
underway at the club, focusing on
upgrading the changing room and
wash room facilities in the Badminton
area. Additionally, plans are in motion
to renovate the Pistol Shooting Area,
Multipurpose Hall, “Flavours” Veg.
Fine Dine & Bar at 2nd Floor, A Block
Membership Office, CCTV Surveillance
Room, enhancing the club’s amenities
for its members. To boost revenue,
the club has processed membership
transfers, allowing new members to
join and enjoy the improved facilities
at GSC. The membership transfer
scheme for new members is closed
and awareness campaign for Ward
Membership
Scheme
with
easy
instalments, for the benefit of the
children of the existing Life Members,
is in full swing as the Life Membership
Fees is going to increase substantially
from November 1, 2024.
As we look ahead, I am filled
with optimism about the future of
our club. The continued support and
active participation of our members
have been the driving force behind
our
success.
Your
enthusiasm,
suggestions,
and
constructive
feedback have been invaluable in
shaping our policies and programs.
In conclusion, I want to express my
deepest gratitude to each and every
member of our club. Your love, support,
and trust have been the cornerstone
of our achievements. As we celebrate
Diwali, let us renew our commitment
to excellence, community service and
personal growth.
May the coming year bring new
opportunities for us to serve our
members better, to create more
memorable
experiences
and
to
strengthen the fabric of our club
community. Let us continue to work
together, support one another and
strive for greater heights.
