be achieved

Dear Members,

As we gather to celebrate the radiant festival of Diwali, I am

filled with immense pride and joy to address you through

this special edition of Team Spirit Magazine 2024. This

year has been an exceptional year for our Club, marked

by numerous achievements, events, and milestones that

have truly exemplified our spirit of unity and excellence.

Firstly, it is with great pride that I am happy to inform

you that our dream of getting FSI Potential released for the

Club is achieved. Our entire Plot reservation now stands

modified from “Recreation Ground” to “Sports Complex /

Gymkhana” thereby releasing Rs. 14 Lakhs Additional FSI

for our club. I congratulate one and all for this historical

achievement of the last two decades and look forward to

a new era at the club from today.

I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the pivotal

role played by our leadership team. A special note of

thanks goes to CA Sanjay Maloo, our Honorary General

Secretary, and Sunil Kabra, our Honorary Treasurer in

the management of the club. Their unwavering support,

financial acumen and strategic guidance have been

instrumental in steering our club towards greater heights.

I extend my heartiest congratulations to our very

own Chirag Shetty for achieving the remarkable feat

of becoming World No. 1 in Badminton. Chirag, your

dedication, skill, and perseverance have not only brought

glory to our club but have also inspired countless aspiring

athletes across the nation. We wish that the youth of

GSC feels greatly inspired and motivated to create many

more World No. 1 in various sports creating a spot for

the Club in the global map. We are immensely proud of

your achievement and wish you continued success in your

future endeavours.

The past year has been an example to our club’s ability

to organize and execute grand events with unparalleled

success. GSC GM Ranga Rang Holi, 2024 was a vibrant

celebration of colours and camaraderie,

bringing together members of all ages in

a joyous festivity. GSC GM Half Marathon,

2024 showcased our commitment to

fitness, community engagement, with

record participation and enthusiasm

from runners across the city.

Our culinary events, the Mango

Festival 2024 and the Wine and Craft

Beer Festival 2024, were gastronomic

delights

that

celebrated

the

rich

flavours of our region and beyond.

These events not only tantalized our

taste buds but also fostered a sense of

cultural appreciation and social bonding

among our members.

The success of these mega-events

would not have been possible without

the tireless efforts of our dedicated

Chairmen

and

Chairpersons,

their

innovative ideas, meticulous planning,

and flawless execution have set new

benchmarks for excellence. I extend

C hirag, your dedication, sk ill, and

perseverance have not only brought

glory to our club but have also

inspired countless aspiring athletes

across the nation.
