It is indeed a proud moment for us to celebrate the momentous
occasion of completing 25 years of the Hilti family’s journey in
India.
Time flies when one is immersed in the moment. To me, it seems like
yesterday that I joined Hilti and in the blink of an eye, I am here today
expressing myself. I am sure you are equally excited as we have
successfully reached a terrific milestone. It is time now that we take
the baton forward with more zeal and continue this legacy of
excellence and innovation. It is a pleasure to have this opportunity to
express my gratitude and appreciation to the Hilti family, Hilti’s
Leadership team, our employees, our customers and the engineering
fraternity for their trust and support at all times.
I want to hold on for a moment to let the air of nostalgia settle in as
this milestone is something very close to my heart. I joined Hilti in the
year 2008 and since then I haven’t looked back. My journey has been
full of immense learning and growing in a culture where values like
integrity, courage, teamwork and commitment drive individuals and
you get to be among the people who strive for becoming better ev-
ery day. Hilti is a part of me where I have grown both personally and
professionally, worn different hats of leadership and experienced the
true emotion of being trusted by an organization. We all have seen Hilti
India become a great place to work because of our brilliant employees
and supportive stakeholders. In these 25 years, we targeted something
bigger, and we fairly achieved it. I wouldn’t be wrong if I say, we had
our own share of ups and downs and faced turbulent business cycles
and challenging days. I think what made everything work out was our
undying spirit to have a positive outlook and a long-term orientation of
the Hilti family.
Hilti has always been home to innovation, unparalleled success,
and a great culture that we are proud of. A culture that empowers
ability, encourages empathy, respects diversity, ensures growth
and provides the opportunity for anyone to create history. Living
examples are the imperious landmarks we have pioneered with
our customers, and which dot the length and breadth of India. Be
it the trust our customers have in us, or the conviction we have in
our people, an unflinching belief in humankind’s capacity to
create miracles is what makes Hilti inimitably different. We rel-
ish the feeling of being a reliable organization in building a better
future for all of us.
Our futuristic vision in business has continually sharpened our
evolutionary attitude. We serve the construction industry which is
one of the largest industries on the the planet. Our industry
creates the places we work, the homes we live in and the
infrastructure that makes us function. Knowing that we impact
everyone on this planet, makes us extremely proud. If we observe
the current developments closely, we can safely say that our
industry is transforming. With our differentiation, direct customer
relationships, and brand trust, we are best positioned to
improve our customers’ productivity, safety, and sustainability. In
fact, we are best positioned to make construction better.
It is with much delight and enthusiasm that I present the
exclusive ‘25th Anniversary of Hilti in India Book’. More of an
emotion than a book, it chronicles Hilti’s phenomenal
quarter-of-a-century journey in India.
This limited-edition masterpiece, a true collector’s item, was
possible only because of the passionate involvement of all
stakeholders, and my warm gratitude to each. As you flip the
pages of this book, you will walk down memory lane and see how
beautifully we have captured the sentiments of growth, evolution,
joy of creating landmarks in India, achieving our important
milestones and much more. It will also act as a trailer, giving you a
sense of the spectacular ways, we plan to reimagine the future.
