Message from Shri. Rahman Khan
Pro Vice Chairman - DPS Mysore, Bangalore, School of India
It gives me immense pleasure to know that Delhi Public School My-
sore is bringing out E-Magazine for the Academic year 2021-22.
The COVID - 19 crisis has forced educators worldwide find to find
alternative to regular class teachings. As a result , online teaching &
learning have been used by teachers and students on an unprecedent-
ed scale.
Education systems should aim to strengthen engagement between
schools & parents in order to improve information and guidance to
parents on effective practices for supporting their children’s learning.
At the same time teachers need support to incorporate technology ef-
fectively into their teaching practices and methods & help students
overcome some of the difficulties that are associated with this form of
learning environment.
I am extremely proud to express that DPS been exemplary in provid-
ing environment
Mysore has been exemplary in providing quality educa-
tion to the children by creating congenial atmosphere to
imbibe good ideas and kindling a sprit of learning to give
outstanding results. Now the platform provided to this E-
magazine will definitely become a foundation in develop-
ing their personalities and realizing their dreams in spite
of so many hurdles for students in the pandemic. I con-
gratulate the Principal , Teachers , Staff & Students who

Message from Mr. Maqsood Ali Khan
Secretary KKECT
The highest education is that which does not merely
give us information but makes our life in harmony
with all existence - Rabindranath Tagore
The core objective at Delhi Public School, Mysore has
been to provide quality education. With the firm belief
that education is the backbone for the development of
an individual and a nation, no efforts are spared to
bring about the holistic growth of every child who en-
ters the portals of the institution. The challenges posed
by the pandemic were overcome easily by our staff
and no efforts were spared to ensure that the school
consistently strove to scale greater heights of excel-
lence in all spheres of the academic arena. Providing
experiences that assist in nurturing the young minds of
our children and fostering confidence to face the mani-
fold challenges they would encounter in life remains
our focus.
I am delighted to note that DPS Mysore is publishing its
first ever E-magazine which reflects the intent of the
school to remain committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sus-
tainable Development. I take this opportunity to express
my gratitude to all the parents who have contributed to
the growth of the institution. I also congratulate the edi-

Message from Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan
Secretary KKECT
In the words of Sadhguru, “ Education is about
Empowerment, about cultivating a human being
to the highest possible potential - a tool for ful-
filling the immensity of Being.”
I am immensely proud and happy that DPS My-
sore is launching its first E- magazine this year.
We at KKECT firmly believe that Education is a
means and not an end, a means to allow opportu-
nities to our young students to explore, to dis-
cover and to exploit their potential without preju-
dice, without hindrance. The pandemic had cer-
tainly created a disruption in our normal rou-
tines, on the flip side, it provided enough time
and space for each of us to reflect, to introspect
and indulge in contemplation. The school maga-
zine is a portal where students give expression to
their innate talents and enunciate their thoughts,
their perceptions and their vision.
It gives me great pleasure to note that the publishing of the E-
Magazine reaffirms our commitment to the Environment while
reiterating important life lessons to children. I take this oppor-
tunity to congratulate the Editorial team for this digital edition
of the school magazine. My best wishes to the institution and I
truly hope that in addition to academics, the learners that pass
through its hallowed portals emerge as caring, productive and
responsible citizens and future leaders of the country.

“ Education is the manifestation of perfection present already in man.” - Swami Vivekananda
In the present didactic scenario, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate
and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing glob-
al society. DPS Mysore has evolved as an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day
is an opportunity to learn and discover.
We aim to create a safe, nurturing yet challenging environment that is built on positive relationships; developing all
facets of the personality of a student – emotional, social and intellectual.
We care for and appreciate each of our students as the unique individuals that they are, each with distinct talents, in-
terests and needs, and each with differing learning styles.
Our school has an outstanding reputation for establishing high expectations and achieving excellent academic results. Talents too are constantly de-
veloped through sports and varied co-curricular activities.
This in turn results in widening the scope of education and makes it more consequential.
The last two years has witnessed a disruption of unprecedented magnitude. In spite of multitude impediments, the school has continued with all its
activities- both scholastic as well as co- scholastic. The teaching fraternity rose to meet all challenges successfully and achieved their mission with
the able support of parents and our dear students.
The school magazine is not only a reflection of the multifarious activities that have been the key ingredients in contributing towards a constructivist
learning environment but is also a platform for students to express their creative pursuit.
It gives us great pride in presenting the next issue of the school magazine in a digital format. This E- magazine is a reflection of some of the most
unforgettable and precious moments of the school. I congratulate the entire editorial team for their hard work and dedication in making this E- maga-
zine a creative expression of our students.

Messages from Senior Mistresses
“The principal goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations
had done.” — Jean Piaget
One of the biggest reasons why education is important is that it helps us become better versions of ourselves. Education goes beyond shaping us as individuals and
enhancing our perspectives. Learning is a lifelong process of growth and development. It can empower us to become empathic individuals, build our self-confidence,
learn more about our strengths and address our weaknesses. We, at Delhi Public School – Mysore, are not just teaching a child – we are influencing a future adult, a
future global citizen.
The fundamental principles of our school's education system at large are: recognizing, identifying, and fostering the unique capabilities of each student, by sensitizing
teachers as well as parents to promote holistic development in both academic and non-academic spheres; Multidisciplinary and a holistic education across the Scienc-
es, Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Sports to ensure the unity and integrity of all knowledge. Our emphasis is on conceptual understanding rather than rote
learning and learning-for-exam. We empower the students with 21st-century skills that promote innovation - creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, intelligent risk-
taking, lifelong learning, curiosity and inquiry, problem-solving, and more.
At DPS Mysore, we endeavour to provide sufficient opportunities to each student to understand and discover themselves, to face and overcome challenges presented
to them. We take pride in helping them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation. We not only provide a framework for success-
ful learning in the classroom, but ensure that students can thrive in a world where change is constant and learning never stops. Even as we impart education to match
the advancement in technology and globalization, we march our children ahead with the school’s ethos of moral values and principles.
