I am happy to know that Delhi Public School, Mysore is bringing out its
Annual School Magazine “ABHIVYAKTHI (Expressions)” for the aca-
demic year 2022-2023.
In the present time numerous changes are happening in the Educational
sector by introduction of NEP and boom in technology. Therefore, teach-
ing fraternity needs to strive endlessly to give prolific meaning to educa-
tion and equip the children with such skills that provide them with the op-
portunities where they can fulfil their vision for the future. A school Maga-
zine is a kind of platform extending valuable opportunities to young tal-
ents to express their creativity. Teachers are special people who bring joy to the hearts of the chil-
dren. You must learn to appreciate our children in their little things. The purpose of education is
not just to provide academicians but also to develop humane and sensitive citizens. So we must all
work for an improvement and the same time share a general responsibility. We think that we are
succeeding in inculcating these morale in the students of this institution.
A school magazine is a link between the school and parents to keep them informed of various ac-
tivities organized in the school. I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the Prin-
cipal, Teachers and students of the school.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to
think critically. Intelligence plus character- that is the goal of true edu-
cation.” - Martin Luther King
With the firm belief that the philosophy of the school room in one gen-
eration will be the philosophy of the government in the next, and that
education is the backbone for the development of an individual and a
nation, no efforts are spared to bring about the holistic growth of every child who enters the por-
tals of Delhi Public School, Mysore. The school is consistently striving to scale greater heights of

“Education is not about loading the child’s mind with information, but about making it
capable of knowing life in its full depth and dimension.” - Sadhguru
I am immensely proud and happy that DPS Mysore is launching the second edition of
the school magazine, ABHIVYAKTHI 2023. We at KKECT firmly believe that Educa-
tion is a means and not an end, a means to allow opportunities to our young students to
explore, to discover and to exploit their potential without prejudice, without hindrance.
The school magazine is a portal where students give expression to their innate talents
and enunciate their thoughts, their perceptions and their vision. It is a reflection of the
activities in the school and mirrors all facets of school enterprise.
The New Education Policy promises to inject new perspectives while complimenting the
latest educational trends around the world, allowing students to be more ‘inter-disciplinary’ and pro-
moting holistic growth. Experiential learning at all stages and empowering students through flexible
courses will help students to enhance their learning and critical thinking ability.
It gives me great pleasure to note that the contents of this Magazine re affirms our commitment to
creating an enlightened society while reiterating important life lessons to children. I take this oppor-
tunity to congratulate the Editorial team for this edition of the school magazine. My best wishes to
the institution and I truly hope that in addition to academics, the learners that pass through its hal-
lowed portals emerge as caring, productive and responsible citizens and future leaders of the coun-
try.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. - Nelson Mandela
At Delhi Public School Mysore, we work hard to provide an education that examines, tests, and develops every
facet of the child's personality. This includes not only assuring learning and delivering instruction, but also shaping
the child's morals, values, and character. Our school gives students the groundwork necessary to see the world as
an infinite space with countless options for success. In a collaborative learning atmosphere, our teachers assist stu-
dents in testing their hypotheses and making inferences and conclusions, transforming them into active learners.
The curriculum content, pedagogy, and assessment methods that our teachers use are professionally prepared to build, adapt,
and change to meet the needs and goals of our students. We strive for a comprehensive, experiential, integrated, and student-
centered educational system that fosters young learners' creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities and prepares
them for the dynamic global workforce and economy. We lay a strong emphasis on inner principles and educate our pupils to
change the world through peace, empathy, and fraternity.
The school has always been aware of modern educational trends and knows that in order to prepare students for the difficulties
of the future, we must help them become global citizens. We at DPSM believe that we must continuously work to create re-
sponsible students who place more significance on the means than the ends.
As the Principal of the school, I feel honoured and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is
a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where every-
one learns including our teachers, parents & staff.I believe in upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to strive
to understand and improve the educational process, using team strategies, while wholly centering on student achievement.
We sincerely appreciate all of the DPSM stakeholders, including the management, staff, parents, and students, for continuing
to have faith in the institution. We shall remain committed to instilling principles and ethos in young people's brains. We look
forward to cooperating to help each child live up to the school's motto, "Service Before Self."
With best wishes to all!
