The Center hosted the first Plain Talk about Dyslexia on

October 4th and 5th, 2024. To bridge the gap between research

and practices across partners who support individuals with dyslexia.

presenters and hosts. There are so many things we do not know

about dyslexia, so having advocates speak out about the

On May 1, 2024, Louisiana celebrated Literacy Day

at the State Capitol—an event hosted by The

Center to highlight progress in literacy, raise

awareness, and inspire action among lawmakers.
