Carolina Meadows Believes

in PBS North Carolina

Don Stedman shares why Carolina Meadows, his retirement

community in Chapel Hill, supports our mission to educate,

inform, entertain and inspire the people of North Carolina:

In 2002, 400 residents

of Carolina Meadows

formed its first fundraising

partnership with PBS North

Carolina. 21 years later,

that number has grown to

850. Throughout the years,

we’ve seen our public

media station evolve and

expand to serve a rapidly

growing state.

Carolina Meadows residents like me donate to PBS North

Carolina every year. Why? Because it has earned our trust.

We trust PBS NewsHour to keep us informed, Rick Steves

to take us around the world, Vivian Howard and Sheri

Castle to nourish our bodies, Willie Nelson to feed our

souls, Rootle to educate the next generation and Dr.

Henry Louis Gates Jr. to help us explore our roots.

PBS North Carolina is our lifeline in so many ways.

During the pandemic, it was literally our lifeline, keeping

us safe, informed and connected to one another.

Carolina Meadows supports PBS North Carolina to keep

its programs and people in our lives. Our support also

ensures they remain in the lives of those we love.

We grow together by supporting each other. Show your

support of PBS North Carolina and the people it serves

by becoming a sustainer today at pbsnc.org/donate.
