Blink is a registered mental health charity providing free, accessible, and compassionate support to those who
need it most. Founded by Mike and Nicole, Blink was born out of personal experience—frustrated by the long waits
and barriers to care, they set out to make therapy more human, inclusive, and immediate.
At festivals across the UK, Blink creates safe, welcoming spaces that encourage wellbeing without judgement—
and this year, they’re bringing that magic to The Big Retreat.

Beautiful bell tents filled with cosy blankets and beanbags offer the perfect place to press pause. Whether you
need a quiet space to rest, want to explore mindful activities like colouring or puzzles, or simply wish to connect
with others feeling the festival overwhelm—the Blink Chill-Out Tents are open to all.

Blink is offering free 1:1 sessions with qualified therapists throughout the festival. These relaxed, confidential
sessions last up to 50 minutes and are open to anyone.
Whether you're curious about what therapy feels like, carrying emotional weight you'd like to share, or just need a
gentle, non-pressured space—Blink is here for you.
Sessions can be booked directly during the festival, and friendly volunteers will be on hand for chats and support
THE ESTUARY SPA TERRACE
A soul-soothing sanctuary with the best view at The Big Retreat
Set on the terrace in front of the old castle, this serene space looks out
across the breathtaking estuary—a peaceful haven designed for deep
relaxation and connection.
Unwind beside the fire pit, soak in the atmosphere from our chill-out zone, or
simply sit back and take in the view. This is where you’ll find the Wood-Fired
Sauna, Chill Tubs, and Hot Tubs.
Most hot tubs have been pre-booked in advance, but one hot tub is
available to reserve during the weekend. You can also book your wood-fired
sauna and chill tub dips right here at the terrace reception.

With so many incredible classes, talks, workshops and experiences across the
festival, it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed. But remember, The Big Retreat isn’t
about doing everything – it’s about doing what feels right for you.
Here are a few gentle pointers to help you get the most out of your weekend:
Start with your curiosity
Choose one or two things each day that spark interest or excitement. Maybe it’s
a movement class, a talk that speaks to where you are right now, or something
completely new.
Balance your energy
It can be tempting to book back-to-back sessions, but we encourage you to
find a rhythm. Try pairing high-energy activities with slower, more reflective
ones.
Leave space to wander
Some of the most meaningful moments happen when you're not following a
schedule. Allow time to explore the site, discover hidden corners, or simply sit
with a coffee and take it all in.
Use the app to plan your experience
Our festival app goes live on Saturday 20th April. It will include the full schedule
across all areas of the festival, allowing you to plan, save favourites, and keep
track of any updates throughout the weekend.
Trust the flow
This is your retreat. There’s no right way to do it. Tune in to what you need in the
moment and allow the weekend to unfold naturally.
