The reason for the City of Mayfield Christmas tree is to remind us that not only are we celebrating the birth of
Christ but the rebuilding of Mayfield. Our January issue will be sharing a great deal about all the wonderful build-
ing that is taking place in Mayfield. This is the third issue on our coming back STRONG.
This issue is filled with sharing some really neat things about our area. For example these three business located in
the same block and each unique in it’s own way. The Annual Walk through Bethlehem which is done by Mayfield
First Church of the Nazarene.
Really exciting to hear about the fantastic ministry of A New Beginning. One place you can really help
those who are starting over in a safe place and we encourage you to support this ministry.
Lotus Children’s Advocacy and Sexual Violence Resource Center has just opened in Mayfield also on East
Broadway at 333.
The Grand Home that was built in 1894 has ribbon cutting and open house.
A never recognized Mayfield Golf Team of
1959 because they won State after school had end-
ed. It was the first athletic championship in Mayfield
High School history.
A ten page Special Lowes Section that fea-
tures the Signature Smokehouse, Lowes Store, plus
other buildings in Lowes.
Wilma’s Kountry Kitchen and The Barn serv-
ing fantastic breakfast and lunches. They will also be
featured in the next issue for building back.
I
hope
you
enjoy this issue
and see with new
eyes some places
you need to visit
and support.
Merry
