Nestled along the banks of the Tchefuncte River in the

beautiful historic town of Madisonville, Abita Roasting

Company will sweep you away from the hustle and

bustle of metropolitan life to a scenic paradise. Our

venue has one of the best views on the Northshore.

Have you ever dreamed of a destination wedding on

the river? This hidden treasure could be the location for

the most important day of your life.

EVENTS & MEETINGS

Opened in late August 2013, Abita Roasting Company brought

unique character and charm to the town of Madisonville. Our

custom made jasmine arbor, porch, lush foliage, and tranquil Koi

ponds are the perfect spot for weddings or corporate and

private events. We are committed to exceed your expectations

and to delight your guests with an unforgettable experience.

$350 (3 hours) - Thursday-Sunday

Minimum food & beverage subtotal: $700

$150 (3 Hours) - Monday-Wednesday

Each Additional Hour: $100 (Plus additional attendant fee)

If you are planning an event, we would love to personally invite

you to visit Abita Roasting Company, Madisonville. We can

accommodate up to 300 guests for showers, luncheons,

corporate meetings, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners,

weddings, receptions, and celebration-of-life ceremonies.

$200 Attendant Fee for every 30 guests unless pass arounds/plated service.

Abita Roasting Company is an all inclusive Event Venue, thus

we do not allow outside food & beverage caterers, whether

professionals or friends. We also cannot allow outside alcohol

to be brought in due to liability and licensing. However, we

do welcome you to bring your own wedding, shower, or

birthday cake.

We have several menu packages that are appropriate for

just about every event. If there is something that you don't

see on our menu, please ask. Our team of highly trained

Culinarians are here to create a delicious menu to make sure

your event is perfect.

Abita Roasting Company is a full service caterer. We hold the

proper alcohol licensing for both on and off-site events. From

weddings to corporate functions, and house parties to private

chef events, we have the staff and resources to make sure

your party goes off without a hitch. Depending on your event,

we have the ability to cook on or off-site. We provide any

chafers, plateware, & staffing your event requires to make

sure it's a memorable one.

Chrome roll top chafer rental. $35 per setup (must be

returned after event)

Perfect for formal events, large events, and sit down dinners

Food is served to the guests through the typical courses

(salad, main course, and dessert).

The food is usually prepared on-site, and we take care of all

set up and clean up.

HOURS: 1 Hour Setup / 3 Hour Event / 1 Hour Cleanup

STAFFING: Multiple Attendants, one event supervisor, & chefs

will work the entire event. An additional attendant will be

added for each additional 50 guests at a rate of $200 for

the first 3 hours. Each additional hour is $50 per attendant.

DRESS: Our attendants will be dressed in formal attire. Chef

will be in Chef Coat

TABLE & LINENS: Tables, chairs, and linens can be rented.

Brent Belsom and his team of highly trained Chefs, Servers,

and Mixologist will come to your home and give your guests

an unforgettable experience.

Custom Menus are created especially for you and your event.

Menus typically start at $125 per person for food & an

additional $75 per person if you include wine pairing or

tended bar with premium spirits served by a trained

mixologist.

(Minimum 10 people)

All Food is prepared and served on-site but typically includes:

Guest choice of either several passarounds during

cocktail hour or a large grazing display.

Course 1: Appetizer or Soup

Course 2: Appetizer or Salad

Course 3: Main Courses such as Prime Filet Au

Bordelaise, Redfish Citron, Rosemary Roasted Lamb

Here are starting budgets that you can expect to pay for different party sizes

and types of catering

How much does wedding catering cost?

Wedding catering will often cost more than other types of

parties. The average costs are $60 per person for food and

$25 per person for drinks.

So, If your wedding has 100 guests, then it will cost you

approximately $8,500 in Food and Drinks.

This does not include rentals and other add ons
