Fall protec�on is the use of restraints designed to protect workers from falling or to stop a fall without
causing serious injury to them. Typically, fall protec�on is implemented when working at height, but it
may be relevant when working near an edge, such as near a pit or hole, or when working on a steep
surface. Fall protec�on systems are designed to prevent or prevent falls from height.
Anchor points are cri�cal components of fall protec�on systems. They
are secure a�achment points to which fall protec�on equipment, such
as lanyards or lifelines, are connected to prevent or arrest a fall. These
anchor points must be capable of withstanding the forces generated
during a fall and must be properly selected, installed, and inspected to
ensure their effec�veness.
The full body harness plays a crucial role in an ac�ve fall arrest system.
It serves to evenly distribute impact forces across the user's body in
the unfortunate event of a fall, ensuring that the individual remains
suspended in an upright posi�on post-fall. Addi�onally, the harness

on its length and anchor placement.
Connectors points: Hardware connectors play a pivotal role in an
ac�ve fall arrest system, as they facilitate the integra�on of various
components into a cohesive fall arrest system. Within this context, a
variety of hardware connectors come into play, such as hooks,
carabiners, anchorage extensions, and metal links. The selec�on of
the appropriate connector hinges upon a comprehensive
understanding of the strength and func�onality prerequisites for the

Modern retrac�ng lifeline devices have transformed safety at heights.
These portable marvels, anchored above the work area, offer dynamic
lifeline control, swi� fall arrest, and integrated shock absorp�on. It serve
as automa�c taut lanyards. The lifeline, connected directly to the
worker's body belt or harness, extends and retracts as needed while

Confined spaces are defined as areas inten�onally designed with
restricted entry and exit points. Some examples of confined spaces
include storage tanks, process vessels, ship compartments, pits, sewers,
boilers, tunnels, and pipelines. Confined space fall arrest equipment is
crucial for ensuring the safety of workers in confined or �ght spaces and
is used to ensure safe entry and exit from these confined spaces. There
are various op�ons such as Davit, Tripod, and Winch which can be used
as anchorages for the fall arrest system in confined spaces.
