Ingredients:
Method
1 cup basmati rice
2 cups water
½ tsp salt
Rinse the rice under cold water until
the water runs clear.

Add 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water
to the kettle along with salt.

Close the lid and bring it to a boil.
3.
Once the water starts boiling, reduce
heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes or
until the rice is cooked and fluffy.
4.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before
serving.
