IEEE FOUNDATION 2024 ANNUAL REPORT
Our “Forever Generous”
Heartfelt Donors
The IEEE Goldsmith Legacy League celebrates an elite group
of legacy-giving donors who are Forever Generous. The group
is named for Gertrude and Alfred Goldsmith, whose philanthropic
vision seeded the IEEE Foundation’s ability to support IEEE’s
mission; members of the League engrave a legacy of generosity
and advancement on their professional home – IEEE. League
members make a planned gift to the IEEE by way of a bequest in
their will or trust, naming the IEEE Foundation as a beneficiary of
a life insurance policy, retirement plan, or charitable remainder trust.
Donors with a donor-advised fund can list the IEEE Foundation
as a successor of the Fund; all are recognized by the League.
The IEEE Foundation is proud to assist donors with finding the
right way to integrate IEEE into their estate plans, helping their
memory live on by unlocking their IEEE legacy. If you are
considering taking the Forever Generous step, we
welcome a conversation with you and your loved ones.

“The act of giving symbolizes generosity, empathy, and a
shared responsibility to create a better world. I feel I have
been blessed with so much and giving back is ultimately an
expression of compassion that benefits me greatly. Through
this experience I realize the joy of helping recipients who gain
opportunities and, hopefully an improved life, even in a small
way. I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate my values
than by supporting the IEEE Foundation programs.”
